A ferocious fire has ripped through a townhouse on the northern Gold Coast, destroying the home and damaging two others.
Emergency crews were called to a complex on Foreshore Street around 12.20am on Wednesday after flames erupted from a carport.
They quickly spread to the attached townhouse, forcing several nearby properties to evacuate.
Crews were able to extinguish the blaze, however two cars were destroyed and three townhouses were damaged.
Thankfully everyone inside at the time managed to escape uninjured.
Police say investigations are ongoing; however the fire is not being treated as suspicious.
