A 32-year-old man has been charged with murder following the discovery of another man’s body in Woodridge.
Police found the 65-year-old deceased after being called to a North Road unit in Woodridge on Tuesday to conduct a welfare check.
A crime scene was immediately declared at the property and detectives from Logan Criminal Investigation Branch and the Homicide Investigation Unit commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the man’s death.
Following investigations, a 32-year-old man was arrested by police at Beenleigh around 7.50pm yesterday.
He has since been charged with murder and is due to appear before Beenleigh Magistrates Court today.
