Police are appealing for public help to track down the rider of an electric motorbike, accused of injuring an elderly man in Miami.
An 82-year-old man was riding his bike along Paradise Avenue near Pizzey Park at around 8.45am on the morning of October 8.
The man hopped off his bike to allow a woman pushing a pram to safely pass on a narrow bridge.
At the same time, a male on an electric motorbike rode past the group at speed.
The 82-year-old told the rider to slow down before the male stopped and verbally abused him.
The rider is then alleged to have accelerated on his motorbike, crashing into the elderly man.
That caused him to fall to the ground, injuring his back.
The 82-year-old suffered a fractured vertebra and spent two weeks in Robina Hospital.
Police are now appealing for help to track down the rider, asking anyone who recognises the man, his clothes, motorbike or helmet to contact them.
