Police have arrested a man and woman after they lead police on a chase in a stolen car from Logan to the Gold Coast.
POLAIR started monitoring an ISUZU D-MAX, stolen from Alberton on Saturday, as it travelled from Eagleby towards the Gold Coast around 11am on Tuesday.
Half an hour later, it was seen entering an underground car park at Oxenford, where police on the ground located it.
Those inside had fled before police got there.
However, a second car was then monitored by POLAIR as it travelled through the Oxenford and Helensvale areas.
The Mercedes-Benz stopped on Helensvale Road at Oxenford at around 11.35am, where a man and woman were taken into custody.
Investigations are continuing and no charges have been laid at this stage.
