Firefighters have rushed to a home in Southport that’s become engulfed in flames.
Crews were called to Dander Drive around 9.15am after fire ripped through a single-story property.
A QFD spokesperson has confirmed the house is “well involved” in fire.
The inferno is under control as of 9.35am and firefighters have managed to contain the flames to the one property, stopping it from spreading to nearby homes.
Four fire crews are on scene, with another one on the way.
Paramedics are also on scene, reporting one uninjured female patient in their care at the moment.
