Gold Coast business significantly damaged after car smashes into it and flees

An investigation is underway after a luxury car smashed into a law firm in Upper Coomera this morning.

The black Chrysler 300 ploughed into the front of the business on City Centre Drive around 8.30am causing “extensive damage”.

Police allege the male driver got out of the vehicle, walked around for a while before getting back into the car and taking off.

He fled up Days Road in the car but was later located by police at Shedluck Street a short time later.

No one was physically injured during the incident.

Police investigations are ongoing.
