Two teenage boys are on the run following the armed robbery of two service stations on the Gold Coast and Logan.

The pair allegedly stormed a petrol station on Nexus Drive at Pimpama around 4.20am on Saturday, where one of the boys lifted his shirt to reveal a knife in his waistband.

The teens then jumped the counter, stealing a sum of cash and a quantity of cigarettes before fleeing the scene in a stolen blue Honda Civic.

Thankfully the 31-year-old female employee retreated to a secure room and was not physically injured during the incident.

The same duo is accused of targeting another service station on Logan River Road at Beenleigh just 25 minutes later.

Police say one of the offenders entered the store armed with a knife and threatened a 24-year-old male employee, demanding money and cigarettes.

They then stole cash and a quantity of cigarettes before fleeing the scene in the same stolen blue Honda Civic.

The vehicle, which had been reported stolen from Kingston Road at Slacks Creek on 16 April, was later found abandoned at Woodridge.

Police declared crime scenes at both servos, while a knife was located at the Pimpama scene which is believed to have been used during the offence.

Investigations are ongoing, and police are appealing for anyone who witnessed either incident, or who may have relevant vision to come forward.
