A man has been shot during a frightening break-in at a business in Beenleigh.
A group of offenders tried to break into the business on Logan River Rd just before 10pm on Thursday.
However, they were interrupted by a man and a woman at the business.
The man has then been shot in the leg before the offenders fled the scene on foot.
The 51-year-old was later taken to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane with non-life-threatening injuries.
The 51-year-old woman was uninjured.
Police have set up a crime scene at the business while the hunt continues for the offenders.
Detectives are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with relevant CCTV or dashcam footage to contact them.
