The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating a nasty crash in Logan that’s claimed the life of a motorcyclist.
According to police, initial investigations suggest an orange Suzuki DI650a motorbike and a white Toyota Hilux collided along Waterford Tamborine Road around 2pm on Monday.
The rider of the motorbike, a 51-year-old Logan Reserve man, died at the scene.
The driver of the car, a 41-year-old Deception Bay man, managed to escape physical injury.
Investigations into the circumstances surrounding the crash are continuing.
Witnesses, particularly anyone with relevant vision of the motorbike prior to the crash, are being urged to contact police.
It comes after three people were killed in a two-car crash just minutes down the road on Saturday.
