Police and fire investigators will today look into what sparked a huge house fire on the Gold Coast.
Emergency crews were called to a property on Gilston Road at Gilston just before 7pm on Tuesday following reports of a blaze.
Upon arrival, they found the house fully engulfed in flames.
The intensity of the inferno caused the roof of the property to collapse, but thankfully everyone inside had already managed to escape.
Six fire crews battled the flames for over 2 hours before finally managing to get it under control.
Police have confirmed investigations to determine the cause of the fire are now underway.
They’re appealing for witnesses or anyone with relevant CCTV or dashcam vision to come forward.
