Three arrested after wild brawl breaks out in Surfers Paradise

Two men have been banned from the Gold Coast’s party precincts, and another has been fined following a wild brawl in the heart of Surfers Paradise.

Police were called to Orchid Avenue around 2.10am on Sunday following reports of a large brawl.

Upon arrival, they found a large group of people fighting right outside the police station.

Officers managed to break up the commotion, arresting three people at the scene.

A 43-year-old man was issued a traffic infringement notice for public nuisance and violence and fined $1,036.

While an 18-year-old man and a 19-year-old man have been issued banning notices from the city’s safe night precincts.
