Two teenage girls have been arrested over the alleged attempted robbery of gym goers in Logan.
Police allege the pair threatened multiple people inside a fitness centre on Cinderella Drive in Springwood around midnight on Sunday and made demands for their car keys.
The first victim was a man who was exercising at the time, with the girls allegedly launching a yelling tirade at him to hand over his keys while searching his clothing.
The 30-year-old managed to leave the gym uninjured, while a second man who came to assist after hearing the commotion was also allegedly threatened, with the pair claiming they were armed with a knife and firearm.
The 22-year-old was also able to leave the gym unharmed, while three other people including a 19-year-old woman, 22-year-old man and 23-year-old man was similarly threatened for their car keys.

Police attended a short time later and located the girls nearby, taking them into custody.
“It will be alleged car keys belonging to one of the victims were located a short distance away after being dropped when the alleged offenders attempted to leave the scene,” police said.
A 15-year-old Ormeau girl has since been charged with four counts of attempted robbery armed/in company/wounded/used personal violence and one count of robbery armed/in company/wounded/used personal violence.
While a 16-year-old Tweed Heads girl was also arrested in relation to alleged attempted robbery and armed robbery offences, with investigations ongoing.
