Police are investigating a nasty jet ski incident on the Nerang River that left a paddleboarder injured.
The 46-year-old man was paddleboarding at Bundall around 5pm yesterday when a passing jet ski with two people on board came too close and sprayed him with water.
The force of the water spray knocked the man off his paddleboard, causing him to fall and suffer a cut to his leg.
The jet ski left the scene, but police have confirmed witness accounts have helped them identify the watercraft involved.
Investigations are ongoing.
