A little girl remains in a critical condition after being hit by a truck in Browns Plains.
The three-year-old was being pushed in a stroller by her mother when she was struck by the vehicle along Browns Plains Road just before 9am on Thursday.
The toddler suffered significant head injuries and was rushed to the Queensland Childrens Hospital, where she remains fighting for life.
The 28-year-old woman miraculously managed to escape physical injury.
Police confirmed the driver of the truck, a 43-year-old man, remained at the scene following the crash.
Detectives are now appealing for any witnesses or dash cam vision of the incident to come forward as investigations continue.
