A manhunt is underway after a woman was stabbed in a park in Beenleigh.
Police and emergency services were called to Hugh Muntz Park on Morrison Lane just before 8pm on Sunday night after reports a woman had suffered a stab wound to the stomach.
The 45-year-old was treated on scene by paramedics before being taken to Logan Hospital.
She remains in a stable condition.
A crime scene was established at the park as detectives investigate the incident.
Police are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with relevant CCTV or dashcam footage to contact them.
