A family has been forced to flee their burning home on the northern Gold Coast early this morning.

Emergency crews were called to a two-storey property on Challenger Way in Coomera around 1am following reports of a blaze.

Upon arrival, they found the inferno had erupted in one room before quickly spreading to the lower level which sustained significant damage.

Thankfully all residents managed to escape uninjured.

Police have confirmed they are not treating the blaze as suspicious.

Early investigations suggest a dryer may have been to blame, however fire investigators will return to the scene today to confirm the cause.
