Police are investigating after a bicycle rider suffered life-threatening injuries in a nasty crash with a car in Logan.
Emergency crews were called to the intersection of George Street and Main Street at Beenleigh around 6.30pm on Thursday following reports a grey Mitsubishi and a bicycle had collided.
The rider of the bicycle, a 36-year-old man, suffered life-threatening head injuries.
He was treated at the scene by paramedics before being rushed to the Princess Alexandra Hospital.
The driver of the car, a 33-year-old woman, managed to escape uninjured and is assisting police.
As investigations continue, police are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the crash, or who has relevant dashcam vision, to come forward.
