The Gold Coast Titans are officially packing their bags and heading to Las Vegas for the 2027 NRL season opener.

The club will kick off its 20-year anniversary celebrations on the global stage at Allegiant Stadium, facing off against the Parramatta Eels under the bright lights of Sin City.

They won’t be the only ones hitting the strip, joining the Melbourne Storm and Wests Tigers as the other two clubs to have secured a ticket to compete in the rugby league showpiece.

Titans CEO Steve Mitchell said the club is over the moon, noting a “natural synergy” between the internationally recognised Gold Coast and the glitz of Las Vegas.

“We’re incredibly excited to be heading to Las Vegas in 2027,” he said.

“This is a landmark opportunity for our club, kickstarting our 20-year celebrations on one of the biggest stages in the world”.

Backed by Mayor Tom Tate and a powerhouse team of club insiders including NRL veterans Gorden Tallis and Matty Johns, Mitchell said the Titans are uniquely positioned to hit the jackpot on the global stage.

“We know there will be tremendous interest from our entire community to travel across and be part of the occasion, and we can’t wait to see Gold Coast Titans colours in Vegas in 2027,” Mitchell said.

For fans ready to swap the humble footy pie for a towering Vegas buffet, the NRL has officially launched exclusive travel packages featuring direct charter flights from Brisbane, Sydney, and Melbourne.

The all-inclusive packages are the only way to secure tickets for the 2027 games for an exclusive three-week window via TripADeal and will be on sale from 8am via vegastravel.nrl.com.
