Gold Coast locals can officially swap their boring toast for Zinger fillets and toasted Turkish buns, with KFC rolling out its highly anticipated breakfast menu to 16 restaurants across the city.

Following a successful trial run at Sydney Airport, the fast-food giant is targeting early risers on the Coast eager to try something a little bit bolder.

The new AM lineup features a number of options like the Chicken Bacon & Egg Roll and the towering Brekkie Wrap, alongside smashed-style avocado with lemon and pepper.

For those seeking an extra jolt before work, meals built around the signature Original Crispy fillet can be upgraded to a fiery Zinger fillet, while classic sides like the fan-favourite KFC Hash Browns round out the morning spread.

Mornings are also getting a caffeine upgrade with a brand-new range of hot beverages.

“The next chapter for KFC is about staying true to the brand’s entrepreneurial spirit while continuing to reinvent for the next generation of customers and ever-changing consumer preferences and habits,” Vanessa Rowed, CMO at KFC Australia said.
