A man has undergone emergency surgery after being stabbed at a home in Logan.
Emergency services were called to a property along Wagner Street in Eagleby just before 7pm following reports that a man had been stabbed.
Upon arrival, they found a 46-year-old man suffering serious knife wounds.
He was treated by paramedics before being rushed to the Princess Alexandra Hospital.
Another man, aged 45, was taken into custody at the scene.
He has since been charged with acts intended to cause grievous bodily harm, possession of a knife in a public place, going armed so as to cause fear.
The man was denied police bail to face Beenleigh Magistrates Court today.
