A man has been charged over the alleged torture and assault of a baby in Logan.
A major investigation was sparked back in June when the 2-and-a-half old girl was taken to Logan Hospital with serious head injuries.
A 28-year-old man was arrested yesterday and has been charged with torture, grievous bodily harm and two counts of assault occasioning bodily harm.
He’s expected to front Beenleigh Magistrates Court today.
It’s not yet clear what the relationship is between the baby girl and the accused.
