A man has been rushed to hospital in a serious condition following an alleged stabbing outside an apartment complex in Surfers Paradise.
Emergency crews were called to River Drive just before 1am this morning following reports a man had been found seriously injured in a driveway.
Upon arrival, they found a man in his 50s with stab wounds to his neck.
He was treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital in a serious condition.
A woman, also aged in her 50s, was found with head and neck injuries and was taken to hospital in a stable condition.
Police investigations into the alleged assault are ongoing.
