Man, woman injured in nasty jetski crash on the Gold Coast

An afternoon out on the water has come to a crashing end for two jetski riders on the Gold Coast.

The jetskis collided in the Nerang River at Surfers Paradise on Wednesday afternoon.

The dangerous collision was caught on a nearby property’s CCTV cameras, with vision showing the moment one of the jetskis turns into the path of the other.

Both riders were sent flying into the water upon impact, with fellow boaties rushing to their aid.

A man in his 20s suffered a leg injury, while a woman also aged in her 20s sustained facial injuries.

Both were taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital in stable conditions.
