A gang of thieves has smashed their way into a Gold Coast home in another terrifying break-in.
Police were called to Greenway Boulevard in Maudsland just before 3.30am after reports a number of offenders wearing balaclavas had broken into a home.
The group stole a woman’s handbag during the break-in.
They then fled the scene in a red-coloured hatchback.
No one was physically injured during the incident.
Investigations are continuing.
