Four men have been charged over an alleged crime spree targeting home entertainment and department stores across the southeast.
The group is accused of attending stores in Biggera Waters, Southport, and Broadbeach Waters as well as stores in Browns Plains, Springfield Central and Mount Ommaney on Monday and Tuesday.
Police allege they stole a number of high-value items, including computers, electrical devices and perfume.
Officers were alerted to a stolen white Toyota Aqua station wagon on Tuesday afternoon.
That vehicle had been reported stolen from New South Wales on March 27.
Police tracked the vehicle via CCTV to Pacific Fair, locating it on Sunshine Boulevard.
Four men were taken into custody nearby a short time later.
Two 20-year-old and two 22-year-old men – all from New South Wales – have each been charged with three counts of enter premises and commit indictable offence, two counts of enter premises with intent to commit indictable offence and one count of unlawful use of a motor vehicle.
All are scheduled to appear at the Southport Magistrates Court today.
