Massage therapist accused of inappropriately touching Gold Coast woman

A man has been charged over the alleged sexual assault of a Gold Coast woman in Cairns.

Police allege the 57-year-old man inappropriately touched the 31-year-old woman during a massage at a business on Lake Street on April 13.

Following investigations by officers from the Cairns Criminal Investigation Branch, charges have finally been laid against the Cairns North man.

He’s facing three counts of sexual assault and is due to appear in the Cairns Magistrates Court on 10 August.

Police are now appealing for anyone with information or further victims to come forward.
