Two people have been injured after a whale watching boat was damaged by large waves off the Gold Coast.
The vessel was hit by a massive rogue wave on Wednesday morning, which smashed two windows on board.
Water police assisted the boat as it returned safely to shore at Southport around 10.20am.
Paramedics assessed those on board, with two people suffering minor injuries.
The incident will now be investigated by the Australian Maritime Safety Authority.
It comes after days of hazardous surf conditions which closed all beaches across the Gold Coast.
City of Gold Coast confirmed on Wednesday all beaches had reopened expect for one at Main Beach, which has issues with beach accessibility because of erosion.
