A woman is due in court today after allegedly stealing a luxury Audi from the Gold Coast and crashing it into three parked cars in Brisbane.
The vehicle was parked on Waterways Drive in Main Beach around 9pm on Saturday when it was stolen before being driven dangerously north toward Brisbane.
Just over two hours later, at around 11.30pm, the stolen Audi ploughed into three parked vehicles in Ashgrove.
The female driver and a male passenger fled the scene on foot.
Police arrested the woman nearby and transported her to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital with serious injuries, while the male passenger remains at large.
The woman has since been charged with unlawful use of a motor vehicle at night in company, driving without due care and attention, driving without a licence, and entering premises to commit an indictable offence.
She’s due to appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court today.
