Ferocious fire rips through Tweed holiday park

A devastating fire has ripped through a holiday park in the Tweed, destroying several properties in the process.

The blaze erupted along Chinderah Bay Drive in Chinderah around 7.30pm on Wednesday.

Multiple fire crews were called to battle the flames, which is understood to have torn through at least three homes.

It’s not yet known what sparked the inferno.

However, police say it’s not being treated as suspicious.
