There’s traffic chaos on the southern Gold Coast this afternoon due to a nasty caravan rollover.
It happened southbound on the M1 at Tweed Heads, near the Kennedy Drive on-ramp, around 11.30am on Tuesday.
All southbound lanes have been closed while emergency crews respond.
As a result, motorists are being urged to use Kennedy Drive and Minjungbal Drive as an alternative route.
One person has been taken to Tweed Valley hospital, however their condition is unknown.
Traffic is currently at a standstill back to Palm Beach.
