A man has been injured after a serious crash in Ashmore.
Emergency services were called to Slatyer Ave at the intersection of Wardoo St at around 5.35am on Wednesday.
A vehicle had rolled and crashed through two traffic lights.
The male driver, who was the only occupant in the car, was trapped in the car for a short time.
The man in his 30s was helped out by members of the public.
He was assessed on scene by paramedics before being transported to the Gold Coast University Hospital for treatment.
Diversions were put in place while the crash site was cleared but they were lifted by 6.20am.
Investigations into the accident are continuing.
