Police have released CCTV as they ramp up their search for a man accused of robbing a Gold Coast tobacconist at knifepoint.
The armed thief entered the store on Brown Street in Labrador around 3.25pm on March 8 and approached the counter with a brown duffle bag.
Police say the man then allegedly produced a knife and demanded money from a staff member before fleeing the scene on foot with a sum of cash.
Thankfully the employee was not physically injured during the incident.
The man is described as a Caucasian with a medium build and at the time was wearing dark clothing and carrying a brown duffle bag.
Anyone who recognises the man, or who has information that could assist investigators, is urged to contact police.
