A crime scene has been established at a storage facility on the Gold Coast following the discovery of a man’s body.
Officers made the grim find after being called to Kennards Self Storage along Olympic Circuit in Southport around 4.15am on Tuesday.
Police have since identified the body as belonging to a 37-year-old man.
“Police are awaiting the results of a post-mortem to determine the man’s cause of death,” Queensland Police confirmed in a statement.
“While investigations are ongoing, the death is being treated as non-suspicious at this time”.
Police will prepare a report for the coroner.
