The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating after a man was killed in a nasty two car crash in Logan over the weekend.
Initial investigations suggest that just before 3pm on Saturday, a silver Mitsubishi Triton and grey Mazda hatchback collided in the westbound lanes of the Logan Motorway at Tanah Merah.
Following the crash, the Mitsubishi left the roadway and rolled.
The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle, a 61-year-old Loganlea man, died at the scene.
The driver of the Mazda, a 39-year-old Hillcrest woman, and her passenger, a 39-year-old Hillcrest man, managed to escape injury.
Investigations into the circumstances of the crash are ongoing.
Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident or has relevant dashcam footage to come forward.
