A major road in the Gold Coast hinterland has been closed in both directions following a horror crash.
A motorbike and truck collided on Beaudesert Nerang Road at Witheren, just east of Canungra, at around 9am.
Grave concerns are held for the motorcyclist involved.
A QAS spokesperson says no transports to the hospital have been made from the scene.
The roadway is a major road in and out of Canungra from the Gold Coast.
Diversions are in place, with motorists urged to avoid that route if possible.
