A man has died after being struck by a bus on the M1.
Police and paramedics were called to the southbound lanes of the motorway at Ormeau at around 6.39pm on Sunday night.
A male in his 70s had suffered multiple life-threatening injuries in the incident with officials confirming on Monday that he had died.
Another adult male suffered facial injuries in the accident and was taken to Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.
Six people on board the bus were assessed by paramedics, however, none required transport to hospital.
Investigations into the accident are continuing.
