Police have launched an investigation into a nasty crash at Broadbeach Waters overnight that’s left two men in hospital.
Emergency crews were called to Bermuda Street around 8pm on Wednesday following reports of a crash involving a car and motorcycle.
A 19-year-old Burleigh Heads man, the rider of the Honda motorcycle, suffered significant pelvic injuries.
He was treated at the scene by paramedics before being rushed to the Gold Coast University Hospital in a potentially life-threatening condition.
A 21-year-old Surfers Paradise man, the driver of the Toyota 4Runner, was transported to hospital with shoulder and other minor injuries.
Investigations into the circumstances of the crash are ongoing.
