A Logan teenager has been linked to a string of property crimes across the south east, including on the Gold Coast, after he was arrested over a violent stabbing attack.

Emergency services were called to an Alexandra Hills address last Thursday, after a high broke out between a group of teenage boys, who were all known to each other.

A 16-year-old boy was stabbed in the ordeal, leaving him in hospital with serious injuries.

A 17-year-old Alexandra Hills boy was located nearby and charged with one count of wounding.

Following a public appeal for further information, a 16-year-old Woodridge boy was arrested yesterday and taken into custody.

He has since been charged with one count each of unlawful wounding and attempted robbery armed/in company/wounded/used personal violence.

The boy is also facing further charges in relation to other offences allegedly committed across south east Queensland between 10 June and 20 July, including two counts of stealing and enter premises and commit indictable offence by break, as well as one count each of wilful damage, enter dwelling and commit, enter premises with intent to commit indictable offence, attempted enter premises with intent to commit indictable offence, and unlawful use of motor vehicle – use in company.

He is due to appear before Cleveland Childrens Court on Thursday.
