A man has been rushed to hospital with significant injuries following a nasty fall in Burleigh Heads.
The man, aged in his 20s, plunged four metres from a retaining wall along the Gold Coast Highway.
It happened near the corner of Acanthus Avenue, around 5.30pm last night, with the young man suffering significant head and leg injuries.
He was treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital in a potentially life-threatening condition.
