Burleigh's Oceanview Track to close for repair works

A popular walking track in Burleigh will be temporarily off-limits as repair works get underway.

The Oceanview track in Burleigh Head National Park will be closed from Monday 20 April to Friday 1 May.

It follows heavy rain in February this year that caused two huge boulders weighing over 3000 kilograms to dislodge.

The boulders damaged the walking track and fencing.

Anyone who ignores the closure risks copping a $667 fine.

During the works, the Rainforest circuit will remain open.
